Commercial carnivore and insectivore diets, along with some fruit and fresh insects (mealworms, crickets). Some owners add a small amount of dog kibble, kitten chow, and low fat cottage cheese. A pinky or fuzzy should also be given weekly.

To carry small twigs and grasses to the nest. They also use them to grasp small objects. Their tails are slightly prehensile.
