Within Western cultures, the human body is made up of interrelated systems of muscles, tissues, bones, nerves, blood vessels, cells, and organs. Within the Indian culture, the human body is a complex of energy centers and channels that distribute vital energy, called prana, throughout the body. There is no specific human body view that is considered European.
