Answer to Question 2

D
If there is a fire and the client is on life support, the nurse should maintain the client's respiratory status manually with an Ambu-bag and move the client away from the fire.
The first action of the nurse is not to pull the fire alarm. The workers could do that.
The workers can attempt to extinguish the fire. The nurse should attend to the client who is clos-est to the fire in the next room.
The nurse should not call the physician to obtain orders to take the client off the ventilator, as this will take valuable time. The client must be moved away from the fire and the source of oxy-gen must be discontinued, as it is combustible. The client will need to be manually resuscitated with an Ambu-bag.

People who have myopia, or nearsightedness, are not able to see objects at a distance but only up close. It occurs when the cornea is either curved too steeply, the eye is too long, or both. This condition is progressive and worsens with time. More than 100 million people in the United States are nearsighted, but only 20% of those are born with the condition. Diet, eye exercise, drug therapy, and corrective lenses can all help manage nearsightedness.
