Answer to Question 2

During his life, Nartosabdho was famous as a gamelan musician, composer of new gamelan pieces, and shadow puppeteer (wayang kulit dhalang). In his early childhood he was a painter, pursued classical style (Indonesian) dance, learned to play Western music on several Western instruments, and even learned to make masks which he sold to support his schooling.
