The old saying, Different strokes for different folks seems especially apt when it comes to matching different therapies to patients' coping style and level of resistance.   a. did better than those with externalizing coping styles in cognitive and cognitive-behavioral therapies.
  b. did better than those with externalizing coping styles in insight-oriented therapies.
  c. did no better or worse than patients with externalizing coping styles.
  d. did better than those patients with low resistance.

  b. CBT that included between-session homework were no more effective than those that did not.
  c. CBT that included homework produced better outcomes than those that did not.
  d. as long as in-session work included similar exercises as homework, there was no difference between therapies that did and did not assign between-session homework to patients.
