  (1) actin and myosin, (2) collagen and elastin, (3) casein and whey, (4) lactalbumen and lactoglobin, (5) myoglobin and oxymyoglobin.

Glycogen is the storage form of carbohydrate in animal tissue and is made of glucose with 1,4-a glucosidic linkages with some 1,6 linkages to cause branching. Cellulose is found in plant tissues and is composed of glucose joined by 1,4- glucosidic linkages. Pectic substances are complex carbohydrates found in fruits. They consist of galacturonic acid with 1,4-a glycosidic linkages and some methylation.
