Answer to Question 1

Milk and milk products should be pasteurized to destroy Listeria monocytogenes. Since Listeria grow at refrigeration temperatures, all commercially refrigerated foods should be processed with utmost care so as not to transmit this disease. Aseptic packaging is needed.
