Answer to Question 1

The points she was trying to make were good; her timing was poor. The good points include: pureed foods instead of food to be chewed; dilute potatoes with milk; attempted explanation about cholesterol; finding a flavor she liked for the supplements.

Answer to Question 2

Since the more concentrated tube feedings are higher in osmolality, and since the tip of the feeding tube is in the small bowel, the feeding should be started slow at  strength.
