How much of this formula will Mr. N need to meet the requirements you previously calculated? Consider the I.V. kcals from D5W.

Question 2

The kinds of food eaten by Mr. Y have been listed but not the amounts. Based on the information given, evaluate Mr. Y's diet.

Answer to Question 1

The answer to this question will of course depend on the tube feeding chosen.

306 are being supplied by the I.V., so 2380 - 306 = 2074 kcals by the enteral feeding.

Answer to Question 2

Since amounts are not given this needs to be a general answer. Possibly high fat depending on the kind and amount of milk, cheese, ice cream, etc. Fruit was not mentioned. Soy sauce, salt, and dried fish all probably contribute to excessive Na intake.
