Answer to Question 1

Blunt trauma to the head without a penetrating wound. Example: being hit on the head with a rock or bat, or trauma caused by an auto accident, etc. that possibly leaves scratches and cuts but no penetrating break in the skull.

Answer to Question 2

Percentages of protein, CHO, and fat are not as important as an increased total amount. A standard percentage of each constituent would be fine. The diet should be changed to meet the tolerances of the patient. However, it would be helpful if additional information were available, as activity level, ratio of lean to fat, frame size, and more exact information about fat digestion.
