Mrs. R has a waist of 42, elevated TG, low HDL, elevated LDL but the type of LDL is not known, elevated BP, and insulin resistance.
Answer to Question 2
Divorce, a child with ADD, suddenly having to work, returning to school, and finances.
Possible ways to change this stress would be to find time to relax and to find a way to unwind other than by drinking alcohol. She may have to take a lighter load at school, and/or work something out with her family to help with her child and with meals. It would be helpful if she could schedule her work hours. See if there is a counseling service at school, etc.
