Answer to Question 1

C
Dietary changes that may help decrease high blood pressure include increasing intake of calcium and magnesium. This could be accomplished by increasing, rather than decreasing, intake of dairy products. Intake of vegetable versus animal protein and replacing saturated fats with po-lyunsaturated fats do not decrease blood pressure, although these changes may have other health benefits.

Answer to Question 2

D
Feedback:
Dietary supplement manufacturers do not have to prove their product is safe. They submit information to the FDA that supports their conclusion that reasonable evidence exists that the product is safe.
