Answer to Question 1

C
Feedback:
One imprecise, rule-of-thumb guideline for estimating BMR is to multiply healthy weight (in pounds) by 10 for women and 11 for men. First, convert the weight to pounds by multiplying, 78.2 kg  2.2 = 172.04; and then 172.04  11 = 1892.44.

Answer to Question 2

1
Rationale: Exercise increases the energy demands and kcalories utilized by the body. If additional calories are not consumed to compensate for the increased use the result will be a weight deficit. Although you may lose weight when you exercise regularly, weight is also determined by the number of calories consumed. One of the benefits of exercise in overweight people is weight loss. Although dense in calories, candy quickly metabolized in the body and is not a long lasting energy source.
