Answer to Question 1

B
Feedback:
The Upper Limit set for adults for sodium intake is 2300 mg.

Answer to Question 2

A
Feedback:
Calorie needs may range from 25 to 30 cal/kg for nonambulatory or sedentary adults to 35 cal/kg or more for hypermetabolic or severely stressed clients; protein needs range from 1.0 to 2.5 g/kg. Based on a weight of 50 kg, compute the calorie and protein needs: (50 kg  30 cal/kg = 1500 cal) and (50 kg  2.5 g/kg = 125 g).
