Answer to Question 1

In most classes, diverse students will exhibit an interest in a variety of different industry segments. The purpose of this question is to make students consider the pros and cons of working in each segment. Clearly, there is no correct answer to the question. Students should be encouraged, however, to consider the impact of their industry segment choices on both their professional career and on their personal lives as these vary greatly by industry segment.
