Answer to Question 1

The fast casual restaurant segment will continue to evolve to provide a little higher level of quality for the money to provide more value to people. Fine dining is going to have a hard time surviving as food costs continue to go up and as the economy continues to stay depressed. Despite the fact that spending on food away from home has continued to increase, the amount of people that spend money on fine dining has stabilized or has decreased a little. The fine dining restaurants need to start to appeal to a larger target market as upscale casual dining restaurants are giving very good service for a more reasonable price with fewer restrictions than fine dining restaurants.

Answer to Question 2

TRUE
