 CleanClean your hands after use of the toilet, changing
a diaper, or handling a pet. Clean also means washing
fruits and vegetables in order to wash away pathogens
and noninfectious agents such as pesticides.
 SeparateThis refers to avoiding cross-contamination
by separating raw meat and seafood from other foods in
your grocery cart, in your refrigerator, and while you're
preparing a meal.
 CookThis is a reminder that we need to cook food to
appropriate temperatures in order to kill pathogens.
 ChillThis refers to storing food at temperatures cold
enough to slow or prohibit pathogen growth.
