Excessive sweating causes blood volume to decrease. The
loss of fluid, if not replaced, leads to dehydration. As blood
flow diminishes so does the body's ability to dissipate heat.
Consequently, core body temperature rises, increasing risk of
heat exhaustion and heat stroke
