The sit-and-reach test measures the ability to ex the trunk, which means stretching the lower back muscles and
the hamstrings. The shoulder exibility test evaluates the range of motion at the shoulder

Improved exibility results in the following benets: increased joint mobility, resistance to muscle injury,
prevention of low back problems, efcient body movement, and improved posture and personal appearance.
