Answer to Question 1

Specicity of training refers to the concept that training benets are seen only in those muscles that are used in
training. This principle dictates that all major muscle groups should be included in a well-rounded training
program.

Answer to Question 2

Fiber recruitment is the process of involving more muscle bers to increase muscular force. The lighter the weight
lifted, the fewer the number of bers needed to generate sufcient force.
