Answer to Question 1

F

Answer to Question 2

Pasta can supply some of the essential amino acids and starches needed for their endurance activities. Quinoa supplies all of the essential amino acids that could be present to rebuild muscle tissue if the quinoa is eaten in the same day after the endurance event. Also when pasta is combined with garlic and onions, the iron and zinc can be released and absorbed. Iron helps with oxygen transport in the blood to the working muscles and zinc helps the immune system work more effectively.
