Answer to Question 1

F

Answer to Question 2

The small intestine and hypothalamus of the brain communicate as to the level of amino acids or glucose that are present in the small intestine. If there is not any amino acids present (no breakfast), hunger signals will be sent to the stomach (such as the grehlin hormone) to signal hunger. Also, the muscle can use fatty acids as fuel to get energy but they obtain more energy when carbohydrates are present in the blood along with the fatty acids. People will feel sluggish as a result and may eat foods higher in simple sugars to gain quick energy.
