Answer to Question 1

a

Answer to Question 2

Soluble fiber can consist of pectins, gums, and psyllium. This fiber is found in the flesh of fruits. While soluble fiber can make a person feel fuller, help control their blood glucose spikes, and reduce their blood cholesterol, it does not aid in the bulking of stools. When waste products are easily eliminated from the colon, they do not cause as much irritation or inflammation that could trigger changes in the cells of the colon.
