Answer to Question 1

 Olivia's 24 hour recall indicates that she consumed about 1000-1100 kilocalories, 40-45 g of protein, and 1000-1200 mL of fluid..
 Energy Requirements:
13.9 kcal/cm (due to 5-12 yrs of age and ambulatory) x 130.5 cm = 1800 kcal/day

 Protein Requirements:
0.95 g/kg/day (4-13 yrs of age) x 23.1 kg = 22 g/day
 Fluid Requirements (equation used per > 21 kg):
1500 mL + (20 mL/kg (per every kg after 20) x 3.1 kg) = 1562 mL/day

Answer to Question 2

 UBW = 126 lbs / 166 lbs x 100 = 76
 BMI = 57.3 kg / (1.6764 m)2 = 20.4
 Mrs. Williams' BMI indicates that she is of normal weight. While this is true, her loss of 24 of her bodyweight in the past year is indicative of severe malnutrition from her chronic illness (gastroparesis)
