Answer to Question 1

Common signs and symptoms include nausea, vomiting, early satiety, bloating, abdominal pain, and postprandial fullness.
These may cause nutritional deficits as they make it difficult to consume or enjoy the consumption of food. In regards to abdominal pain, bloating, and postprandial fullness, these symptoms can be barriers affecting one's perception of hunger or their psychological interest in eating.

Answer to Question 2

Metabolic bone disease is a umbrella term that describes abnormalities of calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, and vitamin D, bone mass, or bone structure.
Factors that may increase the risk for metabolic bone disease in CP patients include: low oral intake/inadequate oral intake, low physical activity/lack of weight-bearing activity , less sun exposure, low serum levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D.
The current patient presents with some risk factors for metabolic bone disease, which include: low levels of serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D, limited physical activity, and probable low oral intake.
