 They set up classroom mailboxes, parent advisory committees, and/or parent councils.
 They reach parents with e-mails, phone messages, newsletters, planned meetings, reading groups, workshops and daily face-to-face contacts. They conduct surveys, send questionnaires or checklists and have suggestion boxes.
