Muscle strength: high resistance, low number of repetitions.
Muscle endurance: low resistance, high number of repetitions.

Answer to Question 2

Start easy; remain at the lower end of the target heart range.
Apply principles of overload and progression.
Do proper warm-up and cool-down.
Remember all training is specific.
