Answer to Question 1

D
Atrial dysrhythmias are usually not life-threatening and include premature atrial contractions (PACs), atrial tachycardia, paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT), atrial flutter, and atrial fibrillation. Common causes for these conditions include myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure, electrolyte imbalances, emotional stress, and medications; they are usually treated with digitalis preparations and reduction of stimulants such as caffeine.

Answer to Question 2

C
When preparing oral medications, the medication should be placed directly in the medicine cup without opening it until the time of administration.
