Quality grades for canned vegetables are U.S. Grade A, U.S. Grade B, and U.S. Grade C.
Quality grades for fresh fruit are U.S. Grade A or Fancy, U.S. No. 1, U.S. No. 2 and U.S. No. 3.
Quality grades for canned fruit are U.S. Grade A, U.S. Grade B, and U.S. Grade C.

Fruits and vegetables get their characteristic colors from pigments, such as anthocyanins, anthoxanthins, betalains, carotenoids, and chlorophyll.
