Answer to Question 1

A
Individuals with lactose intolerance may tolerate foods that contain small amounts of lactose if they are consumed with other foods. Cooking foods that contain lactose does not improve toler-ance. Vitamin D does not improve lactose tolerance. Goat's milk is not better tolerated than cow's milk by people with lactose intolerance; both contain lactose.

Answer to Question 2

2
Rationale: St. John's Wort has been reported to have numerous negative effects because it uses a similar drug metabolism pathway common to many drugs. Adverse side effects have been reported with numerous antiretroviral medications, especially protease inhibitors. Vitamin A has not been reported to have serious adverse effects, nor has chamomile, or catnip.
