Answer to Question 1

C
St. John's wort may be used to treat depression and may interact with SSRIs to cause serotonin syndrome (sweating, agitation, and tremor). Ginseng, ginkgo biloba, and evening primrose oil are not known to interact with SSRIs.

Answer to Question 2

1
Rationale: Corticosteroid use can result in decreased absorption and increased urinary losses of calcium which can cause the loss of bone mineral density. Iron, vitamin A, and potassium are not affected by corticosteroid use.
