The most effective motivator that a chef supervisor can introduce to his team is empowerment.
Involving the team members in the decision-making process is critical to management.
Additionally, the more the chef supervisor understands the kitchen team member's behavior, the
better he or she should be able to influence that behavior and make it more consistent with the
goals of the foodservice organization.
