1 . Aerobic exercises strengthen and expand the capacity of the lungs to deliver oxygen.
2 . They increase the ability of the circulatory system to deliver blood and oxygen to muscles and other tissues throughout the body.
3 . They strengthen the ability of the heart to move an increased volume of blood through the body.

Answer to Question 2

Reduced risk of certain diseases and disorders including heart disease, colon and breast cancer, hypertension, stroke, osteoporosis, back and other injuries, obesity, type 2 diabetes, bone and joint disease, and increased mobility are associated with physical activity. Physical activity also increases a person's feeling of well-being, decreases depression and anxiety, helps relieve stress, decreases risk of dementia, and decreases fatigue.
